DineFine AI – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DineFine AI (the “App”) and its web API at https://ai-menu.tambor-kaze.com (the “Service”) process information.

Data We Process

• Files you choose to upload (PDF/JPG/PNG) or photos you take to analyze menus.
• Extracted menu text (via OCR or PDF text extraction).
• Your preferences (desired/unwanted items, max budget) for recommendations.
• AI-generated recommendations and, if requested, a downloadable PDF.
• Standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, URL, status code, user agent) for security and diagnostics.

We do not collect accounts, email, location, advertising IDs, or analytics by default. The App does not include Google Play Services/Firebase/AdMob SDKs.

Purposes and Legal Bases

• Provide personalized dish recommendations from menu text you supply (contract necessity).
• Generate a PDF report on request (contract necessity).
• Ensure security, prevent abuse, and fix errors (legitimate interests).
• Comply with legal obligations.

Third Parties and Transfers

To generate recommendations, our backend sends the extracted menu text and preference summary to an OpenAI‑compatible large‑language‑model API. API keys are stored on the server only. Hosting providers may process data as sub‑processors. Where data leaves the EEA, appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) are used.

Retention

• Uploaded files and generated PDFs are processed in temporary storage and designed to be deleted after the operation.
• Server logs are retained for a limited time for security and diagnostics, then deleted or anonymized.

Security

Transport is protected via HTTPS. Access is restricted and monitored. No method is 100% secure, but we employ reasonable technical and organizational measures.

Your Rights

Subject to local law, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, object, or port data and to withdraw consent where applicable. Contact: dev@tambor-kaze.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. If we become aware of inadvertent collection, we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be available at this page.
